On this day
Pride has been restored across the land
Honor returned as a woman and man raised their right hand
Humility and grace shown proudly
Diversity echoed loudly
And when a young woman spoke
My, how passion awoke
With the sun radiating light
Red, white and blue shown bright
A challenge embraced
A nation no longer disgraced
