ESPN suggests that one of baseball great players of the past two decades might be a loser.

Omar Vizquel
has been accused of domestic abuse by his wife, Blanca, who alleged
multiple instances of physical violence from the former star shortstop
in a report published Wednesday by The Athletic.

Blanca Vizquel, 36, told The Athletic
that her husband physically abused her in 2011 — before they were
married in 2014 — and in 2016. She also described a heated argument
with her husband this past August, when she decided to leave him and
begin divorce proceedings.

An attorney for Omar Vizquel told The Athletic that Vizquel “flatly denies any allegations of domestic violence.”
