The Guardian reports the British government is AGAIN struggling to get a clear message out regarding how it will handle coronavirus.

The prime minister is considering new lockdown measures after a rise in Covid-19 cases forced him to slow the lockdown easing on Friday, with proposed relaxations for the leisure and beauty sectors delayed.

But Robert Jenrick, the housing secretary, played down reports of an expanded shielding programme for over-50s and a possible London-wide lockdown as “just speculation”.
