Here comes the second wave? China fights new coronavirus cases

The fears about coronavirus remain front and center in our minds. As the numbers continue to grow in the U.S. and around the world, the bitter reality is that the virus’ second wave might be even more deadly.

We might be witnessing the first signs of that second wave.

As the New York Times reports,

Chinese officials have imposed new limits on movement in some northern parts of the country following a spate of new coronavirus infections, in a sign of how difficult it will be to fully recover from an outbreak that virtually paralyzed the country.

This information arrives as governors across the U.S. are determining when — and how — to re-open their states to normal operation, and as multiple models indicate the challenge to predicting the number of coronavirus cases in the U.S. in the coming weeks.
