The sun is setting
Too late to do anything today

Cry out in anger and fear and despair and hope
We must believe
Or the sun might never rise on us again
Rest well tonight for we shall not for many days

He stands, arrogantly
She stands, faking honesty
He stands, angrily
She stands, faking love
He stands, tyrannically
She stands, faking warmth
He stands, as is
