The fraternity chapter whose members are accused of insulting a group of wounded veterans has been shut down, the University of Florida and the national Zeta Beta Tau fraternity announced on Tuesday, The Gainesville Sun reports.
“We are absolutely disgusted by the accusations that have been made regarding the behavior of members of this chapter,” said Matthew J. Rubins, the organization’s president, in a joint statement with the university’s president, W. Kent Fuchs.
